 Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus return home

(Cleveland) - After ten years in captivity, Amanda Berry has arrived home to her sister's house at West 129th and Cooley and Gina DeJesus at her home on West 71st.

Berry and DeJesus arrived in a police caravan amid cheers from the crowd gathered outside. Berry was driven into a driveway and entered the home out of the sight of media. DeJesus had on a bright green hoodie, but gave a thumbs-up.

Amanda was expected to make a brief statement around Noon, but she apparently changed her mind after seeing the huge crowd gathered outside. 

He sister Beth made a brief statement that they are happy Amanda is home and asked reporters to respect their privacy.

It is possible that Amanda will make a statement in the near future.

Gina's aunt, Sandra Ruiz, thanked everyone involved in the search for Gina over the years. She said when they are ready, the family will speak. But for now, they're asking reporters and the community to respect their privacy while they start the healing process.

The third victim, Michelle Knight, is back in MetroHealth Medical Center in good condition.

Before Berry's arrival, 2nd District Commander Thomas McCartney discussed the joy and relief that Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were all found alive.
