5 people wounded by bullets in Cleveland

(Cleveland) - Police are asking for the public's help in solving 5 shootings.

Saturday, a victim was shot and wounded behind the Crazy Horse Saloon on St. Clair Avenue downtown. Investigators say it happened around 2am; the suspect is a black male who was wearing shorts.

Detectives are also looking for two suspects who shot and wounded 3 men Saturday in a robbery outside Miss Martha's Bar on East 116th Street. They were waiting to purchase tickets for an event.

The search is on for 2 suspects who shot and wounded a 42 year old man in the back on East 64th Street near Scovill Avenue Sunday morning.

Eastsiders WTAM spoke with have mixed feeling about what can be done to stop Cleveland's continuing wave of violence. The Cleveland was recently named the 10th Most Dangerous City in America.

Some residents contend police and City Hall should do more to fight crime, others feel there isn't much law enforcers can do, and blame out of control teens and young males who don't seem to be responding to the many outreach programs aimed at them.
