(Cleveland) - Gloria Pointer was murdered in 1984. Cleveland Police say they now have a suspect.
Pointer was just 14-years-old when she was abducted, raped and murdered on her way to school on Cleveland’s east side 29 years ago.
Her mother Yvonne Pointer has become a motivational speaker and an anti-violence advocate locally and nationally.
The suspect is a sex offender and was linked to the case through DNA tests.
Gloria's mom Yvonne has become a nationally known speaker on anti-violence. She is actively working for positive change locally, nationally and internationally.
Yvonne Pointer has declined to speak until the suspect is officially charged.
