(Cuyahoga County) - Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar was picked up for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol early today in Solon.
A police spokesman tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, Kosar was reportedly speeding on Route 422 East of SOM Center Road around 2:42am.
Officers say they detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle. Kosar took sobriety tests and was taken to the Solon City Jail. He was booked, processed and later bailed out.
Kosar’s is expected to appear in Bedford Municipal Court on Tuesday. Officers say he was the only person in the car at the time of the infraction.
