(Alliance) - A sex trafficking suspect will be arraigned on Monday after being busted in a weekend undercover sting.
Thirty-six year old Robert Thomas is in the Stark County Jail, being held on $2 million bond.
Alliance Police have charged the Thomas with trying to buy a 10-year-old girl for sex. Detectives say Thomas was busted by an undercover officer working with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Police say Thomas originally offered to pay $400 for a 5-to-8 year old child, and said he wanted to train her to please him.
Investigators report Thomas was arrested after arriving in Alliance to seal with the deal with cash.
Detectives also searched his Cuyahoga Falls home, and say they found computer gear, along with sexual paraphernalia and videos, handguns, as well as assault rifles including one with a grenade launcher attached.
