(Cleveland) - A Cleveland police officer shot a man who refused to drop a knife.
Wednesday night, officers were dispatched to a home on the city's east side about a domestic dispute.
The Northeast Ohio Media Group reports that as officers arrived, a man approached holding a butcher knife. He was ordered to drop it but refused, telling the officers "you'll have to kill me."
One of the officers shot the man three times. He was hospitalized, but his condition wasn't available. Police don't know if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
