(Bath Twp.) -- Police are looking for witnesses to an incident late Friday afternoon in which former Navy SEAL Chris Heben was shot and wounded after arguing with some men in a parking lot at the West Market Plaza, 3800 Medina Road, Bath Township.
Bath Police say the suspects fled in a low profile sports car, a shade of gray described as neither primer nor metallic. It had a raised spoiler on the trunk and black rims. There was a black tint to the side rear windows and back window. The muffler was a performance type muffler with a loud noise.
The car traveled north on Cleveland-Massillon Road, then turned onto Ghent Road. There were three men in the car, two said to be African-American.
The victim, 44-year-old Heben, of Medina, tried to follow the supsects but realized he was bleeding profusely. He drove himself to the Bath Township Police Department to seek help. He was taken to the hospital and remains there.
