(Cleveland) - The 2013 American Legaue Post-Season logos are freshly painted along the first and third base lines at Progressive Field and red, white and blue bunting is hung around the park

Camera bays have been extended by the dugouts to allow for the onslaught of media due in town for Wednesday night's AL Wildcard game between the Cleveland Indians and the Tampa Bay Rays.

The playing surface is in pristine shape for the wild card contest. Cleveland Indians head groundskeeper Brandon Koehnke says preparing the field for the postseason brings back great memories of Tribe playoff baseball dating back to the Indians World Series appearance in 1995.

Koehnke says a major league ballfield naturally gets 'dinged up' with batting practice, the games and dozens of other events hosted on the playing surface every year.

He says they fix up the nicked up spots on the field as soon as possible to make sure the field is in the best shape possible.
