(Cleveland) - The executives and staff at Mace International celebrated the company's move from Horsham Pennsylvania to Cleveland's Midtown neighborhood.
Mace's new world headquarters is now open for business near East 40th and Carnegie.
Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald announced $650,000 loan from the Cuyahoga County Western Reserve Fund for Mace Security International, Inc. to assist the company in making the move.
Mace CEO John McCann tells Newsradio WTAM 1100 they moved for three seasons. A central location making it easier to ship goods across the nation, a great workforce, and incentives from the state, the city, and the county.
About 50 employees are working at the new headquarters, but McCann says they are already making plans for expansion.
Mace is well known for its pepper spray, and the new location will house not only their headquarters but also manufacturing operations.
