Cleveland, OH - iHeartMedia Cleveland's Mike Trivisonno of The Triv Show on Newsradio WTAM 1100 and Matthew Figgie of The Figgie Foundation announced on air during today’s Triv Show that they will partner on the 8th Annual Triv’s Vegas Shows to benefit Coats for Kids and University Hospitals Hospice.
Triv will emcee the two-night fundraiser to be held Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg. Event tickets ($100 each) go on sale on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
The highlight of the shows, along with dinner and entertainment, will be the presentation of two $100,000 checks by Matthew Figgie, Chairman, Clark-Reliance, The Figgie Foundation and Figgie Capital. The checks will be presented to representatives from Coats for Kids and University Hospitals Hospice.
“We are honored to continue our charitable partnership with Mike Trivisonno," said Figgie and Rick Solon, President & CEO, Clark-Reliance. "In 2015 we will be doubling our commitment by continuing to support Coats for Kids and adding University Hospitals Hospice. We are proud that 100% of our donation goes directly to the organizations and hope this donation will spur others to attend Triv's exciting Vegas Shows and contribute even more to these causes. Helping needy children in northeast Ohio get a coat and supporting individuals in our community who need quality hospice care are some of our ways of providing a helping hand."
The 2015 benefit will be the second event on which Trivisonno and Figgie will formally partner to work toward the common goal of doing all they can to support, and garner support for, organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in northeast Ohio.

About Coats for Kids
2014 marks the 33rd anniversary of Coats for Kids – Cleveland, which was started in 1981 by local radio station employees who realized a large number of children were missing school in the winter because they did not have warm coats. That November, Coats for Kids - Cleveland was founded and the radio station began soliciting donations of like-new, gently worn winter coats and cash donations to purchase new winter coats. Since that initial campaign, more than $3.25 million has been raised and over 500,000 new or like-new coats have been distributed to children in need throughout northeast Ohio.
